So here we are, it seems, at the forefront of maybe the most crucial crossroads of human history. We have a system of governance, laws and restrictions, and leaders in place that are at major odds with a rising consciousness of revolting, compassionate, fed up society. In a world where a 90 year old man is arrested for serving food to a group of homeless people, something has to give. And one could only hope that reason comes out victorious in such a situation. In a world where in the richest nation there is, there are easily more empty houses than there are homeless people, something is horribly faulty in its foundation. In a world where more soldiers are prone to committing suicide than actually die for what theyre fighting for, it makes one question the sanity of our very existence. In a world where such maddening observations like these are just the tip of the iceberg when speaking of such cruel madness, its easy to lose sight of all that is or could be beautiful in our world. Its easy to lose sight of the wondrous potential that we as a species possess. And one thing I know for sure, Im seeing people, especially in the online community I now am a part of, do great things everyday. It could be something as simple bringing a smile to anothers face who is having a bad day, or something as far reaching as organizing global peace prayers, or combating strife among war- torn regions of the globe. Im seeing people wake up to certain things at what seems an exponential rate. Im seeing love, compassion and beautiful souls being mixed into an amazing array of humanitarian efforts. And so, with all the greed, corruption and sadness that encompasses our reality, I just want to say how thankful I am to so many of you wonderful people for fighting for a better world, and a more harmonious, just existence. And though the battle is still steeply uphill, the beauty and powerful energy that exists in our collective consciousness of Love & Light no doubt is enough to keep us climbing until we reach our destination.
