So, here we go again. Due to a combination of surgery, tumors, and radiation I have developed a rather alarming misalignment in my upper cervical spine. The radiologist who saw the X-ray actually pointed at it, said, Whoa! then ran out of the room. That was a little disconcerting. A trip or two the neurosurgeon and Im scheduled to try to have this thing fixed. Im going into the ICU on Monday to be put into traction to try to re-alighn my neck. They are actually going to put screws in my skull and hook me up to a pulley system to stretch me out! If that works, then I get to have my spine screwed together from my C2 to my T3. He has to actually remove some of my vertebrae and replace it with little metal cages. Needless to say, Im a little stressed out about this! Please send good ju-ju, thoughts, prayers, white light, whatever youve got. Also, I might be able to Facebook throughout this process. Ive recently found that watching stand up comedy on Youtube is a great way to forget yourself for a while. If anyone has some favorites they can link me to, or just give me the name of the comic, that would be great! Post those stupid Buzzfeed things about stupid people or whatever. Im going to be drugged like crazy, so Id really like some light, funny stuff to entertain my jacked up brain. Thanks for being there, Facebook family. Wish me luck
