So heres a good quick tip to help with ankle mobility at the bottom of a squat. Excuse the quality of camera. Steps are as follows. 1⃣ Find a solid elevated platform/step and place foot flat on it. 2⃣ Put heavy kettlebell as far forward on knee as possible. 3⃣ Breath out for 5s and push knee forward and keep heel down, you should feel a deep stretch at the back of the lower calf (soleus). 4⃣ Breath in and perform a slight calf raise for 5s 5⃣ Repeat steps 3⃣ and 4⃣ 3 times extending range of motion each time. This should really benefit body position at bottom of squat. Give it a try next time youre doing squats and let me know if it helped.
