So heres my thought. I am a Christian and believe in Christmas and Easter. However, there are other people in this country who celebrate other religious holidays. Instead of going overboard and getting rid of all holidays it probably would have been better to have been inclusive and just added one more day off a year so all religions can be represented. I get that one more day is one day less that students are learning but wouldnt it be a good lesson to teach? A lesson in equality and tolerance?
