So heres pretty much my master plan that Im going to slowly work into and should have ready by May or so; -The new go crazy game commentary channel will be all game commentary, and will stick to being cut highlights of series for the most part (think like my montage videos, like the Dead Island one or Slam City ones). -The highlights wont come from pre-posted footage though; Ill likely record say, 3-4 hours of footage, not on stream, and then compress that down into 1 or 2 episodes of good stuff. -My original channel, AzuriteYT, will slowly go from being *mainly* about game commentary to being *mainly* about reviews, vlogs, travel videos, food tasting, rants on stuff, so forth; this will be where Ill act entirely as myself, no exaggeration on anything. -Note that when I say *mainly*, Im talking about a 40/60 split or so, 40% game commentary, 60% vlogs. My game commentary on AzuriteYT will shift to being mainly one-off series of obscure/rare/bizarre games, plus indie games (as in, the One Shot series), whereas the crazy channel will have more of the long running series. -Streams will continue to be posted on YouTube, but almost exclusively on AzuriteYT, and will probably have a good deal of editing done to them (this gives more incentive for people to actually come to streams); with that said, Ill likely start to leave streams up as VODs as well. ----------------------------------- The reason Im splitting the channel as it is and going in this direction is because I want to attempt to develop a character on the new channel, without it overloading the main channel with content that some of my viewers may not like. This also accomplishes going in more of a direction of shorter series and focusing on bizarre/weird games, which is really how my game commentary took off in the first place, and what a lot of people have been asking for, as well as something Ive wanted to do myself for a while. The popular games that are being released, Ill be able to cover almost exclusively on the new channel, and in doing so, Ill get two birds with one stone by doing videos on popular games and dissecting them in an exaggerated, critical way, without it turning off viewers who like my more relaxed, casual commentary on weird/obscure games. I hope this all sounds like a good idea to you too. --------------------------------- TL;DR version; ***AzuriteYT will become a 40/60 split of single-shot videos of game commentary on weird/obscure/bizarre games & vlogs/reviews/rants/food/travel videos ***New channel will be well edited, exaggerated rage/critical commentary on popular games ***Streams will continue as before, but with less uploaded to YouTube, with VODs now staying up instead of being deleted
