So heres some interesting information Ive been told- With an average of over 6 million viewers per episode, GUF had a MUCH larger viewership than Parks and Rec, Community, Brooklyn 99, The Goldbergs, Two Broke Girls, and The Mindy Project. All of which were renewed by NBC or other competing networks. Additionally, both Seinfeld and 30 Rock were given 2nd seasons despite rocky starts. GUF is based on a real family. A remarkable family to say the least. Its really sad that shows like Honey Boo Boo, Dance Moms, The Kardashians, 16 and Pregnant, etc, are renewed and a wholesome, family show becomes a liability.
