So, heres the deal. Anyone who {{{hugs}}} me will be defriended. Seriously. Is that clear? I do not want hugs, but do want the option to talk about this at some point, and dont want to surprise anyone. A week from Friday, Im having surgery to remove half of my thyroid, along with a nodule of indeterminate composition and a terribly behaving parathyroid. Ill go in early, before most of you are awake, and Ill be home in time for lunch; Im hoping for mac&cheese from a box, because sometimes a person just wants childhood favorites. I may be offline for a few days and I may be grumpy, which is why I felt it best to post this information. Again, no hugs. I accept good thoughts from those who think them, and prayers from those who do that sort of thing. If you have Ive been through that and it was easy-peasy and Im fine stories you want to share, please do so in a private message. If you have my aunts friend had that and it was awful stories, just dont. Seriously. DONT. Im sure Ill come online the day after to inform FB and everyone that Im fine and VERY grumpy and Id like more chocolate.
