So heres the deal: Since our (i.e.Kyle , Chett, and my) healing excursion into the woods to dance naked with nature, I have been inclined (more than usual, anyways) to pursue earth-based, natural regimens. Like. All-the-way-natural. I have been using essential oils daily. Lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, tea tree and so on. I have made so many lotions and potions I am sure most people would think me insane: clove beard oil; lavender healing oil mainly used in the shower; honey, sugar scrub; healing bentonite facial masks; black salves for wounds; my house now has coconut oil in every room... I have even stopped using store-bought deodorant and made my own (which--and I swear on my life--works better). Also, I have begun to oil-let and use more natural remineralizing mouth treatments. Among other things, I have begun to make more household products, harmful chemicals retracted, even my own oil based candle-lanterns. In short, I want to make my life less processed-food-produced-consumption based, and my transition includes my feline children. I am taking a shot in the dark here when I ask has anyone made their own pet food? What we feed our pets is terrible. Absolutely horrendous. The by-product and nontraditional foods that is the bulk of our pets diets are detrimental to their wellbeing. I am seriously considering buying wild game via creditable sites and a meat grinder. Has anyone had any success stories?
