So, heres the update on my Brother (John Ball) He is in recovery from surgery now. The Dr. put an external fixater on....which is pretty much 4 pins in his foot/ankle. The Dr. said his injury looks like rice crispies.. There are approximately 30 bone fragments floating around. In about a week, he will have another surgery to remove the fixater (which was applied to keep him from moving anything while the swelling reduces.) The second surgery will consist of bone graphs, metal plates and screws. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him and we are all keeping our fingers crossed that he will listen to the Dr.s so that recovery can be as quick as possible. Thank you to everyone that has asked about him and I will continue to keep everyone posted!
