So heres what a low carb off/cardio only days looks like this - TopicsExpress

So heres what a low carb off/cardio only days looks like this week. I didnt include a second 50g shake that Ill make before bed (in a second here). Remember, carbs fuel high intensity exercise so since I only did a few rounds of car pushing and Im only doing 3 days/week of lifting, I kept my carbs low. If I was doing a 5 day lifting program, I would still be having some carbs even on the off days but with my current client schedule, 3 days works much better for me. Keeping protein high ensures that my body retains muscle, especially with the caloric load for the day being relatively low for my body size. My fats are coming from sources like coconut oil, fish oil, real butter, peanut butter, and the fat from my foods like free-range eggs & grass-fed beef. The fat from animals that are fed their natural diet are much healthier for you and can help you get leaner. Remember, fat from food is not the same as fat on your body. The right amount of fats from food can actually help you lose body fat. Fish oil is a great supplement for improving the fluidity of the cell membrane making it easier for protein synthesis and fat loss to occur. Car pushing is an awesome choice for cardio because the high resistance makes it possible to build muscle while losing fat. The only pre-workout supplement I used was black coffee.
