So, heres what happened: 1) The government run system that tracks EBT (welfare) cards had a glitch, and was reporting No Limit on all cards 2) Walmart stored in Springhill and Mansfield, LA made the choice to allow people to use the cards anyway 3) Word got out, and people with EBT cards swarmed the Walmarts, loaded up their carts to over-flowing, and purchased items they KNEW they should not have been able to purchase 4) The shelves were striped bare 5) Police were called in for crowd control 5) When the glitch was resolved, people abondened their over-flowing carts and walked out of the store ksla/story/23679489/walmart-shelves-in-springhill-mansfield-cleared-in-ebt-glitch
