So heres what happened at Safeway and why do I feel guilty about it??!!! My wife and I were at Safeway getting stuff for dinner. I decided to get the peanut butter cookies they sell there. I grabbed 2 packs, (dollar each) soda, and napkins. While we were paying for the stuff I threw in a snickers almonds bar. When the total came up it was $23.67. I realized I had forgotten my debit card and only had 20 dollars cash on me. I decided to take things out. It was the candy bar and the two cookies. Just then the lady behind me gives me a twenty dollar bill to pay the difference and put the items back in. I said no twice but she insisted. Do I paid for the items I returned, she said she knows what its like to want things and not able to gave for whatever reason. After I is is I returned her change. Told her god bless you and we took off. On my way out I had a great feeling of emotions cause some strangers gesture was awesome, but at same time felt guilty!! Why do I feel like this? ??? God bless that woman !!
