So hey guys. I kind of may have gotten my roommates truck stuck in some mud in my friends driveway today. Im not in a ditch or anything. I actually didnt even spin out a rut. I just cant get traction backward (up the hill) and I cant go down the hill because its a huge woodpile and a fence that Im right up against. So thats been my day. Ive been kind of emotional/on edge lately even before this and today and this fed into that a bit (though I was/am doing really well with it!). Were gonna try to get it out tomorrow morning and we may need helpers and any of the following you may have access to: a tractor or a stronger truck to pull it out (4X4 with a hitch, dually, lots of horsepower) a winch a good jack with know how about using it on a hill (i.e. if we jack it up in the back will it roll further downhill, can we block that somehow?) other truck-out-of-mud hacks and special items kitty litter or other ideas to suck up moisture and give traction Edit: We have tried: rolling the truck back and fourth (it seems to be able to move 3-4 inches up but then loses traction and rolls back) stuffing brush and carpets under wheels deflating the tires a bit in hope of increasing traction moving a bunch of weight in the bed to right over the wheels (and then pogoing on rear bumper) We have not tried but plan to: get a bunch of people to help push (call me if you can help tomorrow morning!) pull it out with another truck/tactor (the truck will be in a slipperyish place also)
