So, history was being made! And just about anybody couldve made himself a part of that history- anyone couldve volunteered his room- Yet the only thing the kindest person of the whole lot that assembled at Bethlehem could volunteer for a pregnant woman to be delivered of her child, was a manger. Where he kept his animals! You see, oftentimes people are going to treat you based on how they perceive your worth. And, to most people, youre worth no more than their dog. They may consider what they offer their animal too precious to be given you. *Dont look at me like Im kinda strange; ask the prodigal son. Ask Mary and Joseph* Thats how much some of your countrymen think youre worth. Now, the onus is on you to prove them wrong. You could be denied a pigs meal, but thats because youre worth much more. You could accept a manger for now, but that doesnt mean youre an animal. It still doesnt mean youre a slave, or about to give birth to a slave- the baby (dream) in your womb (spirit) is still a king. Dont let how people treat you, and where life has placed you, define who you are, who you become, and how much youre worth. Always stand up, look your manger (circumstance) in the face and declare your TRUE worth. There are many kings being treated like servants all over the world, many great messiahs and messaiah-carriers currently consigned to the most obscure slums of every neighbourhood- I am aware of that. You should know that too. Perhaps, this consciousness would change how you treat a certain Joseph and Mary currently bearing the burdens and labours of life. Perhaps it would help you become a part of the making of someones history. Perhaps it would help how you feel while trapped in your own manger. Show someone love today. Stay positive, even if the sum total of everything the world offers you is just a dingy manger. You know youre worth much more; dont you? If they knew, theyd be falling over each other to be the one who offers you a room in their house. See? God sometimes wants to use your predicament to show you how the people around really feel about you. That way, youre not tagging your life to who you dont need in the future. Dont be upset. Stay positive. But know who really discerns your worth. And, above all, know your worth, no matter whats happening to you now. #MerryChristmas!
