So hoping for a quick response, Im a little freaked lol. Threw up blood??? My short story(longer version was posted awhile ago lol), I was diagnosed with clots in both lungs on Dec 18, an spent the next week in the Hospital. I am on Lovenox injections twice a day. I am 13 weeks pregnant. I have still be having serious chest pain, especially this past week and its only getting worse. Im getting heart palps, shortness of breath, and even getting my shoulder pain back tonight. This afternoon I developed a really bad cough(husband is sick) and been coughing so much all evening. My entire body hurts, from the top of my head to the tips of my fingers and toes! Well, tried to take some cough medicine and pain meds Im on to try and sleep, only to throw them up. And streaked in it was blood. None of my meds were red in color so I know it wasnt them. Ive never thrown up blood before, and I can still taste a metallic taste in my mouth still. My docs havent done any testing other than the CT that was performed on the 18th to look for clots- didnt even check my legs. Also that was the last time i had blood taken. Does this warrant an ER trip? It wasnt alot, only like 3 small streaks, but I figured Id ask here before i wake up my whole house.
