So, how humid is it in Misawa? So humid, that my decision to invest in nice, wool rugs to cover the vile military housing carpet has turned out to be possibly the worst. Decision. Ever. The smell of wet wool? Gross. Now imagine walking on damp, wool rugs, eee But never fear, my brilliant idea was to buy quite a few of those smelly rug powders, and mix them with baking soda, absorb the damp, and the odors, right? Ummm......nope. Putting powder on damp rugs turns said powder into a sticky gross industrial strength something or other, that will NOT vaccuum away, along with moisture and said wet dog/ wool odor. In fact, all it will do is stick to the Inside of your vaccuum and harden to a diamond like substance, that you will have to chisel off. And your carpet still smells. Stay Classy Misawa.
