So i have a problem, that i some how created. I tried to change my timing belt, i tore everything apart to get to it, (valve cover,plugs, main belt, engine mount) and couldnt get the crankshaft pulley bolt off. Ended up putting everything back together. Now it doesnt run right, bogs down from 800-2500 then takes off. Exhaust has changed tone. Im thinking that i may have jumped the timing belt. This is because someone at my work told me that i could break the crankshaft bolt loose by propping a breaker bar against the ground and bump the starter to spin the engine and break the bolt at the same time. Did it twice, both times the front end of the car went up a couple inches. At that point i stopped, and decided to put everything together. I also changed out the thermostat, and adjusted the fiv valve, though i doubt these caused this. Ideas?? Pic for attention.
