So i have only ever done one track day here before this weekend and after distroying a tyre in practice and qualifying due to bad suspension set up on Friday. I only managed to qualify 18th on the grid from about 30 riders. I changed to a harder rear tyre for race one and changed my suspension and managed to work my way up to 13th before having bike troubles mid race and finishing 16th. 2nd race on Saturday I had the same tyre and a different set up again and managed to finish 14th and took 2 seconds off my qualify time. 3rd race today I had the same tyre, a different set up again but I didnt feel as good and only managed 15th with same lap times as yesterday. But overall it was a great weekend racing in front of that massive crowd, I learnt heaps and look forward to next year. Time to get faster.... Superbike school here I come.
