So i have this blog, where i publish my internal monologues regarding stuff that pop inside my head. And unless i jot them down, the words will buzz around inside my head. Sometimes, they are compelling stories, sometimes, they are sad and dark, and sometimes, i dont even publish them, cause the words are still young, the thoughts inchoate, and the story incomplete... The exhibitionist in me wants and adores the public adulation.. and yet, at the same time, the insecure little girl in me, shies away and cringes at the thought that people might be reading my writing with displeasure... And yet, i post my stuff, like a masochist knowing well that pleasure of approval is pleasure, and pain of rejection, as well, can be pleasure, if it makes me a better writer. and this morning i woke up to two fabulous reviews of my blog, by an anonymous commenter. And just like a cat, my back curved, my eyes squinted, and i purred... Thank you for your support. My blog has now had about 10,000 views. alalehkamranlaw.blogspot/2013/03/i-am-tahmineh.html
