So i watched the remake of ROBOCOP last night, apart from the obvious, the whole taking an established brand thing and the 12A cert, It was actually pretty damn good, it follows some plot point from the original but the majority of it was all brand new stuff. Good action sequences, not bad CG which wasnt overused, Joel Kinneman was pretty good as Murphy, Michael Keaton was good, the script was tight, Jackie Earl Haley was awesome and Gary Oldman just ruled. They did some things to the plot like making Robocop more human with emotions which worked in this version my only gripe with the film is that they should never have given him a black suit. The Silver suit was boss. All in all a solid 8/10.
