So id like to share a little story... yesterday after closing i was waiting alone at the drop off/pick up zone when this guy Franky came up to me and asked if he could sit with me. Of course i said yes, and almost immediately after he sat down he started crying :( He said hed been pushed, shoved, hit, and bumped into all weekend, his phone had died, he only had $20 on him, and his friends were lost. He said hed never experienced anything like this at SoCal raves and the horrible vibes completely took him by surprise. I calmed him down, gave him some water, talked with him for a while (we bonded really quickly :) ), and finally asked if he wanted to trade kandi. He only had one with him, but.... I decided to give him the first kandi i ever received. He was completely overwhelmed! It was really special to me, but I think he needed it as a reminder that there are good people here, you just have to find them. When my ride came I convinced her to drive Franky to a caltrain station, but after seeing how emotional Franky was she drove him all the way home :) it only ended up being about 20 minutes out of our way, but we could tell it meant the world to Franky. he kept trying to give us his money, everything he had in his pockets, literally the shirt off his back... he even said when we dropped him off that he would go inside and get all the money he had there! but we refused. his bright spirit (and the beautiful rainbow kandi he traded me!) was more than enough payment. Franky, you have a beautiful soul and im so sorry your night wasnt perfect. but i hope our random encounter changed your night; i know it changed mine :) If you see this, please hang on to my kandi as a reminder to stay positive and always look for the good in life through all the bullshit.
