So, if I understand this correctly, there must have been some discussion in the Obama administration about the possibility of a travel ban. However, they decided against it because they believe the developing economies of nations thousands of miles away are more important that the lives, health and welfare of American citizens here at home. This is why they continue to allow 100-150 persons per day to arrive in the United States from Ebola hot zones in West Africa? Additionally, it was recently announced that Ron Klain, a former chief of staff to Vice President Joe Biden who does not have a medical or a health care background, has been appointed by President Obama to be the point man on fighting Ebola at home and in West Africa. Klain will report to national security adviser Susan Rice and to homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco, the White House said. Although Klain does not have a medical background, it does sound to me like hes pretty experienced when it comes to politics and image. So the priorities here are the economies of third world fledgling nations, politics, and image. https://youtube/watch?v=18erAAwJU8o#t=17
