So if you dont follow Odds and Sods this was posted I will repin as it has the town of Kindersley in an uproar...and honestly their right their is no affordable housing or rentals there and now they just given people more reason not to move their. repin Council passed a resolution that will make all work camps, trailers or other structures serving as a residence a violation of zoning laws. Mayor John Enns-Wind says although having residents living in industrial areas is unacceptable, council recognizes the housing challenges in Kindersley. We dont have enough houses, we dont have enough condos, and we dont have enough apartments. So what weve tried to do is be fair in the sense that we realize theres a need, however, hotels are coming online as are houses and apartments, so June 30th is a reasonable compromise. The bylaw will be enforced beginning on July 1, and any extension requests must be received by the Chief Administrative Officer by May 29, 2015. Under no circumstances will an extension be granted for a period exceeding ninety days. Wow, what do you all think of this? There is no freaking, and especially afffordable place to live in Kindersley!! Looks like someone has shares in these hotels? Do not think it is fair, especially when it is all set up for this.
