So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on what is above, not what is on the earth. Colossians 3: 1-2 JUST PASSING THROUGH!!! --- Sometimes our actions and attitudes seem to indicate that we have forgotten that this earth is only a TEMPORARY dwelling place for us!!! Many are living like they will be here, on this planet, for all of eternity. This makes me recall some words to an old song. A part of that song says, This world is not my home, Im just passing through. You know, that old song is right on. According to the Bible, we will only be on this earth for a short time, compared to eternity. In our scripture passage for today, Paul is reminding those of us who are Christians that WE SHOULD NOT BE SO CAUGHT UP IN THIS WORLD AND THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD, WE SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON JESUS OUR MESSIAH AND THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!!! --- Yes, while we are here, on this earth, we should enjoy our lives as we live for Christ, and partake of the Lords blessings, BUT WE MUST NOT FORGET THAT OUR TRUE HOME IS IN THE VERY PRESENCE OF GOD!!! --- In other words, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! So let us NOT be obsessed with the latest trends of our pagan society, let us NOT be consumed with what TV personalities are doing, and what they have to say. --- Lets just do as the Bible says: SET YOUR MINDS IN WHAT IS ABOVE, NOT WHAT IS ON EARTH!!! --- PRAISE GOD, WE WILL NOT BE ON THIS EARTH FOREVER!!!
