So if you want peace worship the God of the Bible 1 John 4:7-8 says: Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” The God in the Bible is a God of love. God doesn’t command us to go and kill other people who don’t agree or believe in what we do. God and Jesus command us to love them, to pray for our enemies, to do good to those who do evil against us. The God of the Bible is the one who came down to earth in the body of a baby. And that baby was born to the virgin Mary, and that baby named Jesus grew up to me a man and died on the cross for our sins. Jesus was the only man on earth who never sinned. Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18). The God of the Bible is the one who shed His very own blood for us so that our sins could be forgiven and so that we could be given eternal life. So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood - over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as elders.” (Acts 20:28). So brothers and sisters, continue guarding your heart in Jesus Christ. Guard your heart from worshipping anything else that might make you think more about it than you do about God. Trust in the Lord and do not lean on your own understanding.
