So im attempting to file the stupid insurance claim for my stupid phone that i shattered a few months ago. The phone insurance company doesnt have an easy way to get a replacement for this particular phone, so they make you contact their customer service. Customer service sends you to another website to complete your claim. You log in and it tells you that you have to print out a form.. which is a sworn affidavit and proof of loss statement. You have to fill it out and then fax/scan it back in along with a photo ID, and the name on the photo ID (which I dont have because i lost it) has to match the name on the Verizon account (which it wont when i get a replacement because i changed my name) So now im on the phone with Verizon to change my name on the account, and they have to text me a pin code. ...but they cant text it to my phone because i just started an insurance claim on it. *facepalm*
