So im chillin in the limo across from the Verizon Center where i dropped my clients off for the Fleetwood Mac concert and there are hundreds of people out on the streets of Washington. Some are going to the concert, some are dressed up in costumes, some going to bars and clubs, some going to dinner at restaurants, etc. etc... All of a sudden these 7 or 8 teenagers come running around the corner and run on both sides of the limo and then i hear pop! pop! pop! pop! pop! pop! Scared the f*** out of me. Then 3 or 4 of those same dudes run back past the limo and back around the corner. Within like 2 minutes there are like 100 police officers, undercover agents, reporters all around the immediate area, trying to keep people back and restore some order and figure out what just happened. Then they put up yellow police tape and blocked off the area, because now its a crime scene. 3 people were shot right in front of the Crime and Punishment museum, coincidentally. (The museum was converted into a haunted house for Halloween) and taken to the hospital. Bullet casings were found less than 12 feet from where i was parked. The police wouldnt let me leave nor would they let my clients enter the limo. Finally, about 3 hours later, they raised the yellow tape and we were free to go... It was crazy af in D.C. last night...
