So im sitting on this flight and I got to witness something so beautiful.. 40,000 feet above the ground, a man had the entire plane silent so he could sing to his girl and he asked for her hand in marriage, after that display of pure love and selflessness, of course, she said yes! Its situations like these that remind me, God is so amazing. Even in times of sadness I find myself in beauty. Above the clouds with romance literally in the air. In saying that, I can not help to think about how much I love and care and respect my parents and siblings, and not to mention the other members of my family who have always been in my life. Ive seen the way the other half lives and I refuse to be a sheep. I am a lion, and I will not fester on my agonizing anger. Instead I would rather expose the truth. Its the least I could do considering the complete disregard of my life. So, the truth is, God gave me the opportunity to live amongst the shameless, amongst those who lost their spirit, compassion and patience to the superficial and self righteous. I have lived a different life, I must admit... however, on this journey I made contact with some truly unforgettable souls. I understand now the true meaning of respect, loyality and friendship. And despite all the heart ache, I fell in love. I fell in love with nature, with people and animals, with experiences, and with life in general. No one knows what the journey of life has to offer, but the Lord insures your everlasting happiness if you practice what you preach and strive to be a better person everyday. The only thing you can do when faced with a hideous and difficult situations is focus on who you are as a person. Never let any being compromise your self worth, and ALWAYS know that if you keep your faith, God will grace you. It may not be today, or the next, but do not falter. Have faith and persevere. God is the truth, God is the way, God is the life. The bible says to pray for those less fortunate than you. And honestly, its a fabulous way to collect your thoughts. I got many wonderful things out of this chapter in life, and unfortunately I also lost some in the long run. But hey, all is meant to be. Thank you LORD!! The best things I ever do for myself come from taking chances, I regret nothing. To the people who have changed my life in Maryland, I thank you for eternity. There is no better pleasure in life than knowing you have happiness, God knows I couldnt be happier in this moment.
