So .... in dedication to my sister, or any mentally / physically disabled person ... I am horrified at this article and how ignorant society is. Although we have been subjected to the terrible stares of "normal" people, or teasing, name calling over the years - thank fully we have never experienced this horrid experience this mother has with her autistic child from a terrible terrible human being in the neighbourhood. I do hope the neighbourhood stands up for this family in this sensitive situation and that this woman is exposed of her rutheless insensitive disgusting letter! To all the families out there that have a mentally / physically disabled sibling / daughter / son or know of someone, lets start creating awareness to show support and love of this hugely ignored community. They are a people, like you and I - us "normal" people are not perfect and if anything .... these mentally / physically handicapped people have bigger hearts and love to show than that the "normal" human race as they do not judge!!!!
