So in rescuing another staffy I learnt something new that I would like to empart onto my friends and family so that if you ever find your self in this situation you have something to try, our new boy jet has claws an inch long where he either wasnt walked or was always an grass and the previous owners didnt cut them, well we have a big garden and he went out to play.......and split one of his rear claws in the worste possible way......definitely gonna fit in with us only a dog that can hurt himself with no half measures could he ours lmao bless him......and it just would not stop bleeding which left me looking for a remedy......only to find that you can apply cayene pepper directly to the wound in either a poltice or just sprinkle it on directly , not only does it help stop the bleeding it is anti inflamtery so win win, but I mist stress DO NOT FEED YOUR DOG CAYENE PEPPER ..... Am hoping from this experience I might be able to help another who finds themselves in mine and skas situation one day ..... Blessings to you all xxx
