So... in response to what could be one hell of a challenging health crisis in the United States with regards to Ebola, and also in response to the incredible bungling that has occurred on a local, state and federal level with regards to *one* case of Ebola, the White House has chosen a so-called Ebola czar to coordinate and better implement responses to protect us all. His name is Mr. Ron Klain. And what kind of thorough medical, military or security experience does Mr. Klain have? Er, none. But he was once chief of staff for Vice President Biden, Vice President Gore, and Attorney General Janet Reno. He was also a lobbyist for Fannie Mae just before the housing bubble burst. Oh, and Kevin Spacey played him in the HBO film Recount about the Bush/Gore Florida vote recount, so hes got that going for him. Tonight, a worried yet grateful nation will no doubt sigh in relief.
