With Environment Films, Ellas production company, they have worked tirelessly for over four years on their film in support of Soi Dog Foundation to stop the horrifying trade in dog meat that takes place in Thailand. Dame Judi Dench, Ricky Gervais and Laura Carmichael have contributed their time and in the last 24 hours, the petition was signed by 300,000 and the film is now running on CNN. The Independent and the Mail are giving the film front page position and are carrying the film on their sites.It makes very tough viewing but must be seen as this vile and monstrously cruel trade must end along with all animal cruelty. I always care to remember Mahatma Gandhis words — The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. Please sign if you can.
