So is Mimiko sponsoring or going to heavily sponsor Opeyemi Bamidele against Fayemi? If he does, it may be a real threat to Fayemi as he may be weakened for PDP to have it, but that will depend on how popular Fayemi is with the Ekiti electorates, if he is quite good with them as I think he is, hell still win even if Mimiko pumps in all Ondo allocation, there are numerous APC states to over counter that, Opeyemi is from same district as Fayemi too so, the people from there wont want to lose out and will see Fayemi as a surer chance, Opeyemi will find it hard getting level at the other zones, PDP will hardly be able to cordinate themselves for a formidable fight due to deep rooted wranglings, not too likely Mimiko will want to run himself broke to oust Fayemi who is most friendly to him of the APC. Well be seeing, but I think Fayemill have it, even clearly.
