So it has been mentioned by a few people that this book series would make a good film. Im flattered and honored that people would say that...and it started me to thinking. If I had my choice, who would I like to see play these characters? The first choice I didnt make, my mom did. Shes an avid fan of Bones, and she told me that David Boreanaz would make a great Shane. Having only known him from Buffy, I was a little skeptical, but I see what she sees. Even his mannerisms are similar to what I picture. Hes older than I imagined, but I could always fudge the ages a bit. Its not that the ages really matter anyway, right? For Marnie, I am drawn to Dianna Agron, of Glee. I saw a photo shoot she did for a magazine done up in 60s styles, and she was perfect. Everything, down to what she was wearing, was exactly as Id pictured Marnie, but I admittedly have no idea what kind of actress she is. I do think she has a pretty singing voice, though. For Brett, the more I see Brian Bloom, the more I think hed be great. He mainly does voice acting now, but he still does some appearances in movies and television shows. His eyes are what draw me in. Theyre utterly captivating, and Ive seen him play a myriad of roles over the years, so I know that he could tackle this one well. What do you guys think? If were dreaming, we might as well dream big. Who would you like to see in a big screen adaptation of this book?
