So it is with heavy heart that I write this post, but the time has come to part ways with one of our family members. Two and a half years ago, we adopted our cat, AnnaBelle Lee, from the Michigan Humane Society, on the eve of her destruction. We have been very proud parents since, however some very real concerns have come to light since the arrival of our newest addition, Kendall. AnnaBelle has been a very sweet cat since we took her in, but over the course of our time together, we have realized that she is progressively not getting along very well with the ohter animals in the house. This could very well be in part, due to our inability to give her the same amount of attention we did before, but its hard to say. She is free to a good home, is a very sweet cat, extremely affectionate, and will talk your ear off if you let her. I just think shes not too thrilled with all our other fur babies. She is very nice to people, so this is only toward other animals. She is fixed, fully up on her shots, and is chipped. Our biggest fear is that she occasionally swats at one of the dogs (as dogs can be total idiots), be it in defense, or otherwise, and has been inaccurate in her swings in the past. Dani took a hit a couple months back, and we cant risk that happening to a newborn baby. Please help, and understand shes a great cat, but I cant justify the possibility of a problem, and refuse to take her to a shelter. Thank you.
