So it looks like we arent going to have rolling black-outs over the winter after all. Would love to see the assumptions used in this prediction. National Grid operating at v close to capacity with existing plants down and new ones not coming on line in time. Lack of long-term energy policy = lack of investment = lack of capacity. It isnt rocket science guys. Contingency is importing expensive gas from Europe as power cuts would probably be the single biggest vote loser + catastrophic to economic recovery.
