So it seems that the asylum seeking boys from Iran boarded in Doha, came all the way to Malaysia and spent a week in Malaysia before boarding that flight, having their tickets purchased in Thailand by a mysterious Iranian guy, and also presumably obtaining false passports. Now ... why would someone fly all the way from the middle east to southeast asia and back via china in order to immigrate to Europe? The fact that the guy who bought the tickets didnt seem to care what airline it was as long as it was the cheapest seems to corroborate the idea that these are innocent illegal immigrants, but this assumes that people with crazy ideas will act logically. What if the idea was to perpetrate a random act of chaos? In that case it wouldnt have mattered which icon of western decadence was blown up. The World Trade hijackers were well-heeled, buying first class tickets for their suiciding volunteers. What if this is just some kind of poor mans version of those terrorists, flying on the cheap and less picky about targets? The above is not my pet theory - just speculation. And a warning to not impute logical thought to those who would perform such an act (if indeed they did.)
