So, its January 6th, 2015. January 1st of 2014 was a whole year ago. On that day I thought it sounded like a fun and fairly simple idea to pray through my friends list. A good challenge, but nothing too crazy or life altering. Little did I know that a year later I would only be to Julie. Apparently I either have too many friends or I am a very slow prayer, or a combination of both. I also had no idea what a gift this commitment would be. I am blessed with incredible people in my life! People from every stage, through a wide variety of connections, across many states and countries; of all ages, beliefs, size and color. It has been an honor to lift each of you up and to pause and remember who each of you are, why you are special to me and how we are connected. So fun!! Thank you for your kind words in reply and for those of you who have prayed for me in return. I had no intention of praying for people for what will be well over a year, but apparently God had better plans. I have learned to notice things, to intentionally look for the positive and point to it. It is a discipline to pause and reflect on what is good and to remember and appreciate what beautiful things have grown out of pain and struggle. Ive loved the journey and grown through the process. Thank you. So - on with the rest of the alphabet!
