So its Tuesday and you know thats weigh in day. Frustrating week - TopicsExpress

So its Tuesday and you know thats weigh in day. Frustrating week this week as I lose 1 lb this week (at least its still going down) but I still get to my 2nd goal of 40 lbs lost which is a plus. After a huge week last week of 6 1/2 lbs, losing 1 is a little frustrating. BUT I know exactly why. if you recall, I hurt my knee last week, and My knee injury definitely the root cause of why I didnt lose more this week. They say that losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise. that 30% killed me this week. I ate pretty much the same so I kept with that doing the 12-8 thing and eating every 2 hours trying to stay around 1800 calories or less for the day; I have been doing the same things. The difference is I wasnt able to work out as much as I my knee wouldnt allow it. I have been walking but I know its not the same work out, I cant get that sweat going. Right now my knee is about 70%, maybe 75%, if life were a football game, I would be questionable this week on the injury report. last week I was doubtful. I had been just letting nature takes its course on the healing, but got some good advice yesterday from my friend Keith Stover on what I should be doing to help it along more with icing and heating at different times, which I started today. Thanks for the advice. I expect to be 100% by this time next week. and resuming losing at least 3 or 4 next week. But If I dont, its not the end of the world. I also could be hitting a wall too and we will see for next week where I am at. Doing machines like elliptical and stationary bikes are boring to me ; I cant get into then, but I may have to go there if I dont get 100% with my knee. I refuse to let this slow me down. I have also thought about adding swimming and or bike riding in general to my work out which I may start soon as well and maybe some lifting as someone told me that lifting will help burn fat as well. I have to change it up, I will. I havent come this far to not continue on. Until next week everyone...thanks for reading.
