So its a tale of two teams. You have the San Francisco Giants, a team that has won 7 titles overall [including the last two in San Francicso]; however, at one point, they havent won the title in 56 years [their longest such drought in franchise history] & havent won the title as San Francisco since the team moved from New York in the 1957-58 offseason. The Dodger fans arent very please about the fact that the Giants are moving on, and not the actual boys in blue. Personally, I am a Dodgers fan [as well as an Angels fan], but neither one of them moved on to their respective LCS. Anyways, the Giants have won it all since the beginning of this decade; the fact is that they won it all in even years [2010, 2012], or every 2 years. Since this is 2014, can they win it all one more time, for the 3rd time in the last 5 years? Then we have YOUR KANSAS CITY ROYALS! A team that has won its first 8 games to start the postseason [the first of its kind in postseason history]. It also dates back to 1985, when their last lost in the postseason was game 4, when Saint Louis won 3-0 on Wednesday, October 23, 1985. The Royals havent lost a postseason game ever since, and when you think about it, thats 11 GAMES!!!!! However, this is a franchise that was so dire of making it to the postseason...let alone, having a winning ball club. Only Tony Francona [the skipper of the Cleveland Indians] knew that this team was something special, and that they would be extremely great before anyone will realized it. Boy, is he right. Now, the Royals will do something they havent done in their 45 year existence: having a winning World Series. The Royals World Series record is 6-7, where they failed to hoist the trophy in 1980, but redeemed themselves in 1985, thanks in part of the Don Denkinger controversy in game 6 [though its not his fault for the collapse of the Cardinals demise]. With the drought now over [with the exception of the Division title, where the Royals has never won the Central Division, and hasnt won the division since 1985 as the Western Division Champions, but who cares?], and the hot streak that they have, can the Royals continue their surprise dominance? Will they have their 2nd title in 3 tries in their history? AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, AFTER THIS SERIES IS OVER, CAN ANYONE GO TO THE K FROM NOW ON?! Seriously, 26th in the MLB in attendance? Unacceptable!!!!!
