So its been pretty scary for me here in the hospital. Things have gone very badly for me, and Im getting sick of hearing the words life-threatening. It seems all my conditions are trying to kill me ... High blood pressure, increased risk of seizure and stroke, and a botched spinal block procedure which resulted in nerve pain in my leg the likes of which the hospital has never seen before. After an emergency MRI and CT scan, they have discovered I have a major artery bleeding directly into a muscle, along with a pseudo aneurysm. I have been warned moving this leg could kill me fairly quickly, and now have had a rare surgery to repair the artery and hopefully cut down on the imminent threat of death. I am apparently somewhat of a celebrity at the hospital with lots of old-timers coming in to study me and tell me all their years they have never seen anything like my case. Now the good news: Torin is completely healthy and happy, and my incredible husband, friends, and family have really stepped up to take care of him and everything in preparation of him coming home. I dont know yet when I will be better and home, but I am so thankful and humbled by the wonderful love and care of you all. Thank you to everyone helping to make this easier on us. Even the smallest take care means the world. Thank you thank you thank you.
