So its finally legal for gay marriage in this country as of today. Although I dont believe in the religious context of marriagre (as Im not religious) or the idea of marrige in general- i view it as a piece of paper thats not required to signify my commitment to someone, I do think it is a massive step in the right direction for gay rights in this country. There are couples I know who are engaged and can now finally get married legally from the states point of view and for those people Im chuffed to bits for yas!
