So its not just injured and baby birds, its move to neglected pet birds. This poor thing was given to me as the owners were moving over seas, complained it was messy and said its about 6months old. This poor Indian mynah was being fed on the wrong food and as a result has one tail feather and as you can see no feathers on its head.it was put in a small cage as you can see in the pic. I do not believe in keeping birds in cages but this is all this bird knows. It screams when I pick it up. I now have to build trust, get it used to me so I can start taking it outside. This is going to take a very long time. I have to trim the wings (which left a lump in my throat) as if it escapes it will die. I also had to cut the nails as they were disgustingly long. It now owns a big parrot cage (lucky I had one) which I dont even have the heart to put him in there so hes walking around on my bed. He is going to be fed proper food and Im going to put him on a multi vit. Please dont keep wild birds as pets! People see them eating the cat pellets and think that is their staple diet. Well its not! Birds are meant to be free. Will keep up dating on this little guy.
