I remember when I used to throw my SeaFair parties, Id wind up spending a dirty couple hours separating plastic cups, plates, and utensils out of the garbage, washing them, and throwing them in the recycling bin, serious pain in the ass! Uhura just forwarded me this handy little link on OfficeDepot: Eco-Products is a Colorado company, and they were really helpful when I started looking for resources to help reduce plastic waste in workplaces. They even have an employee whos title is Sustainability Maven—she spent an hour+ on the phone with me, and multiple emails, helping me understand how distribution works, why their new soup spoons dont melt in hot liquids or foods, etc. If youre about to have a big barbecue, consider recycling your old plastics and picking up some compostable picnic-ware instead!
