So, its the last night of 2014. Seems like a lot of good things happened this year. There are definitely some sad points, too. So glad I know you. If we met this year - Praise the Lord! If we have known each other for years - Praise the Lord! As I sit in a very dark and empty sanctuary awaiting the Watchnight service, I hear the echos - of SOA, of laughter, of family and friends living and loving, of great men of God who have unashamedly preached truth from this pulpit. And while I revel in my solitude - know that I am thinking of you - hoping that we will meet again - share a laugh or a tear - a hug or a handshake. My resolution for the new year is going to be the same one I have had for the last few years. It is a never ending pursuit. To Love People and Use Things - not the other way around!
