So, judging by the responses last night, only one person likes to go to Wal-Mart, lol - it was those price rollbacks, wasnt it? Everybody else said screw the low prices, I hate it!! Unfortunately, its a necessary evil for nearly everybody. I think for a lot of people on the spectrum, its just too much...whether its the lighting, crowds, noise...its just very over-stimulating. Its too much for those of us who are not on the spectrum! I cant imagine what our kids must be feeling. I know that some of you have kids who cannot handle it at all. Gabe is a people watcher, but he has become intolerant of crying babies and screaming kids, so often we find him holding his ears when that happens. Mostly, he just wants to push the cart at warp speed nowadays...which is kinda funny...but also exhausting after youve spent a good 30 minutes holding the cart back so he doesnt mow the other shoppers down! We get some dirty looks, but meh...who cares. My kid likes pushing the cart and thats huge so get over yourself and get out of the way...like fast! We have a short school day followed directly by therapy. Hopefully he wont evacuate the session repeatedly like he did yesterday. Poor kid still wasnt feel great last night, but he wakes up happy so its hard to tell these past couple of days whats going on with him. We float and just adjust according to him. Maybe today will be better. Well see.
