So just had an amazing meeting at my home with two Ghanaian leaders! They both come from a village called Ateiku, which is about 3 hours north west of the capital Accra. They requested my assistance in helping them finish the regions first high school, currently with no doors, windows or amenities. He estimated $50,000 would finish it, but $100,000 would finish it + air conditioning, plumbing and a science lab. So here is the deal: we are going to help these men. Soon I will begin a crowdfunding campaign and you, me, and a lot of others are all going to adpot this school in Ghana. All the money will be going through a non profit foundation for transparency, and once construction begins we will get weekly updates and video. When it is done I will finance my own trip to Africa to go and document the changes we have all made together and report back to facebook. I cant do this alone, but I dont think I will have to. These kids get their water from a hole in the ground, go to school in open air rooms with 90 degree temps and 100% humidity in the middle of a forest. I am so happy that these men reached out to me to help.. I believe that we can do it. More to come later. Thanks for reading yall.
