So, just met with Chriss corneal specialist. First off- good news. The graft/transplant still looks good. He is allowed to ride his motorcycle and drive once his light sensitivity goes away (they stopped one of the drops that causes this, so soon). The bad news, he has a pretty badly inflamed endothelial membrane. This puts the corneal graft at risk for rejection, and they want to do a laser procedure to try and fix it, and possibly a new transplant if it doesnt get better soon. We go back in a week. Sort of making progress. P.S.- so far, the retina is still attached, which is also good news.
