So just need to update everyone on our weekend in case anyone is needing anything from us over the next bit we may be a little more tied up than normal. So mom (Rhea Reed)had been having some pains Fri and sat she thought was indigestion. Got worse on Sat and clinic sent her to emerg. Turns out she had recently had a heart attack according to tests. Sat sun were lots of tests. Mon she had an angiogram where they discovered one of her main arteries (LAD if you know stuff or like to google like me) was 90% blocked. They were able to open it completely with angioplasty and inserted a stent. She was discharged on Tuesday and has a big job of recovery. Biggest for her will be to slow down because she is used to just doing. Also quitting smoking is a must which will also be quite the challenge although right now she is doing OK in that regards. Lots of cardiac rehab set up and such so lots of support. She is quite tired...I think more than she expected to be...but all in all shes well. Heck she is home after having a heart attack despite the almost full blockage of a major artery. Anyway just wanted to let you know and also to know the next month we will be close to home as it is totally unknown and we will be all over with appts and business and helping Grandpa with things she would normally do (although likely all that will be changing!). But feel free to still connect as we definitely are hoping to connect with people over the holidays if we can fit it.
