So just seen that the person counterfeiting money locally was caught. And thinking about that, why does the FED get to do it while anyone else is arrested on federal charges? Because I must ask you, why is counterfeiting a crime? Rhetorical I know, it devalues our currency right!! Well when the FED prints more dollars what does that do to our currency? Well it of course devalues it. As a matter of fact, when they print money, called quantitative easing, it takes money out of your pocket. If you had money saved, it is now worth less, thus they stole from you. Actually a person printing a few thousand dollars in a basement does not hold a candle to the FED printing say 20 billion a month to artificially prop up the housing market and hide our governments spending problems and poor policy resulting in a broken economy with no employers to be had.
